Trixie Matthews is a licensed cosmetologist, instructor and educator with over 13 years of experience in specializing in healthy hair care. As a graduate of Dudley’s Cosmetology University and professionally trained at Vidal Sasson Academy, she has shared her expertise by training over 300 cosmetology students to obtain their licenses and pursue their goals in the beauty industry. She is committed to improving the quality of education by offering workshops in design principles and continuing education classes for licensed individuals.

Ms. Matthews is a highly competent and educated professional with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is also an A+ Certified Computer Specialist, Hair Extension Specialist, an Image and Business Relationship Consultant and is a certified Notary Public. In pursuit of providing total beauty and body wellness, she has also completed various training and certification in hair, skin and nail care.

Deana Southerland was born in Magnolia, North Carolina.  As a little girl she set her hopes and dreams on becoming a hair stylist.  After graduating from high school, she pursued her dream by entering the Cosmetology Program.  She later decided to return to college and obtain her Cosmetology Instructor License.  A licensed cosmetologist for the last ten (10) years Deana has been living and breathing her dream and, loving every minute of it. She has been a licensed Educator for the past seven (7) years and has trained hundreds of students with necessary skills to become successful stylists in this creative field. 

Deana believes in the importance of healthy hair and continuously strives to make a difference in the hair industry.

Andreia grew up in North Carolina and is a graduated of the Aveda Insitute Chapel Hill, NC and now pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University.  After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Shaw University she decided to move to Atlanta, Ga to worked as a client coordinator at Van Michael Salon. While there she was educated in Aveda hair care,make-up and skin care. Andreia developed very close relationships with some of Van Michael master colorist and stylist they helped pave  the way for her strong work ethnic. She has a unique ability of approaching color and cut through the eyes of a hair stylist and from the perspective of an artist. She has a strong gift for color that ranges from contemporary to the artistic and loves to style all textures of hair. Andreia is also a Hair Fusion Extension specialist. With always having a passion for the beauty industry, her passion shines through and she will always make you feel special. Hyun grew up in Hawaii where she earned a BA in History at the University of Hawaii. After obtaining her degree she relocated to California to earn her MA in Intercultural Studies.  She now calls Durham, NC her home where she enjoys and appreciates the diverse culture.

Hyun is Aveda trained and a Redken Specialist. She enjoys giving her guests a look that is personalized to their individuality through cut, color and/or a versatile style.  Although she enjoys working with all types and textures of hair, she specializes in formal styles (bridal, proms,  special occasions) and make-up.  Hyun looks forward to giving you a relaxing and fun hair experience.

Sherrie has been in the beauty industry for 10 years. She has been an educator for Aveda Institute. She has received various training in Color, Cuts, and Make-up with  Vidal Sassoon, Tony and Guy and Aveda. Sherrie loves to express her creativity and client satisfaction is her ultimate goal. Sherrie is proficient in styling both men and women.
