What is a Deva Cut?
A Deva Cut is not your typical haircut because it's uniquely customized for curly hairtypes. For starters, curly hair should be cut DRY so that the stylist can see your natural length, your curl patterns and where the hair falls. The average curly head has more than one texture and has varied curl patterns. Some curly hair cutting techniques carve and slice into the style to de-bulk hair, which can result in a lot of "loose ends" making the hair look frizzy. The Deva Cut is more about making each curl look its best and is not just a way to “tame” the curls.
